NO POWER... THEY ARE SCARED COLD AND HUNGRY
PLEASE help these people... if you can't get out there to help personally.. you can help by sharing this and getting the word out there

I just got back from checking up on the nursing home and bringing them some food.  As of 1am Monday Nov 5th, they seem ok.  They have power(lights, phone, tv), blankets, and some food. They were all sleeping, and Sea Gate is a fenced in community. There were cops at the gate, lots of cops cruising around, and a lot of Sanitation workers.
so..... they're certainly not as isolated or desperate as the story makes it seem.  If they need one thing,  from what I saw, it's more food.

Cops are all over the place in Coney Island, so are Sanitation workers who are clearing MASSIVE debris.
We talked to a sanitation worker who said that they just don't have enough equipment.
He said, and i quote, "we can't do this, we need the army"
