Rapid Repairs has now restored heat, power and hot water in almost 11,500 homes – over 4,000 homes in Brooklyn – and the program is 99% complete. Upon finishing eligible repairs, each home received an independent inspection to verify that the systems were working properly. While Rapid Repairs is committed to ensuring that the temporary repairs were constructed safely and professionally, it is the homeowner’s responsibility to make permanent repairs and to properly maintain the electric, heat and hot water systems installed by Rapid Repairs.
All homeowners who participated in the Rapid Repairs program receive a letter (and email, when available) with the below phone number and email address where they can contact us with any questions regarding their repairs. Please find attached a flyer with this same Rapid Repairs Customer Service information that you are welcome to share with constituents.
